Hi, I'm Emily
..and from a very early age I have always loved a good party! Even when having my own celebrations, I always insisted on doing the planning.
From the moment I got engaged and began planning my own wedding, I was head over heels in love with the whole process. I had my own planner, and saw how much ease it brought to the whole day. A few short months later, I coordinated my first wedding, and never looked back! I graduated from the University of North Carolina Chapel Hill with a degree in Psychology in 2014, and continued my studies after graduation by completing a course in wedding planning through Wake Tech, and working on my portfolio.
In 2017, I officially launched Emily Warrick Weddings + Events, and have now done over 55+ weddings and multiple events.
My favorite moment of a wedding is waiting at the end of the aisle after the ceremony and the newly wedded couple makes their way back. There is always this moment when they reach the end and look to each other with absolute joy and pure wonder that they are now officially married! It’s moments like these that make this job so special.
When I'm not obsessing over everything wedding, I can be found spending the day with my son Judah, my twins Raleigh and Addison, and my husband, Ben. I also love catching up on a good book, working at my church, or trying out a new restaurant.
